Flat, Fee-Only Sevice
As an independent company we can structure our fees as we like. We thought long and hard about this. Transparency, and clearly spelled out costs, were obvious. We prefer to deal with others that way that so why would we offer our clients anything less? As fee-only advisors we take no commissions, or any other renumeration, from anyone but the clients we serve. That allows our advisors to focus solely on the client and their individual needs without outside influence. A single flat annual fee, rather than a percentage based fee, helps us eliminate the financial incentive that often comes with recommending investments or financial decisions. Our only financial incentive is keep our clients happy. Our unusual flat fee pricing model allows us to do the right thing and recommend only what we think is in the clients best interest. Always.
We charge a $7,500 annual fee, billed monthly. For that fee we create a comprehensive financial plan for our client, including up to fifteen hours of consulting with a CFP fiduciary advisor, follow-up, ongoing advice and investment management throughout the year. In the rare case when a financial plan is so complex it takes more than fifteen hours there is a one-time extra charge of $250/hr.
There are no minimum investments amounts and clients are not locked into a long term arrangement.
For most of your investments, like mutual funds, ETFs, stocks or annuities, some fees and trading costs levied by other parties will be unavoidable. That is how the rest of the industry is structured. We work to keep those third party fees and costs to 0.25% or less of invested assets, none of which goes to Favrile or it's advisors.
We may also refer you to other professionals, like an estate attorney or tax accountant, that can assist you when your situation requires it. We do not take any fees or gifts or kickbacks of any kind for these referrals.
